This is the number of registrations to date for the International Conference on Thinking (ICOT) which is organised by COAS and Tuinnovas.

The figure in itself is great news considering that there are still two months until the congress begins and other successfully organised ICOTs have had a maximum capacity of 1,400 people.

In the last month, and after the publication of the preliminary program at WWW.ICOT2015.COM the growth has been spectacular. The program includes four days of conferences, workshops, lectures, panels, good practices, symposia, think tank and round tables of 14 International Keynote speakers of a high standard, 15 thematic speakers and 25 invited speakers.

The events will take place at the Palacio Euskalduna and the Guggenheim Museum, which will be used for specific sessions about Art.

The Committee of the ICOT, Dr. David Perkins (professor at Harvard University and co-director of countless research programs of the ICOT), Bengt Lennartsson (Emeritus Professor, University of Linkoping, Sweden), Robert Swartz ( professor emeritus at the University of Massachusetts and director of NCTT (National Center for Teaching Thinking)), Jane Stewart (directive of the Independent Schools (Victoria - Australia)), John Edwards (James Cook University, Australia and Founder OUR Education Network ) and Karin Morrison (Director dedesarrollo of Independent Schools of Victoria, Australia) is very pleased with the management developed until this first ICOT in a country of Spanish language.

It is estimated that the economic impact on the city of Bilbao with a number of attendees of 1500 will be around 3.5 million euros.

Regarding the web for the ICOT, since the account was created there have been 114 033 views from 96 different countries!
